Mining Hauler

The Mining Hauler is a high-capacity transport ship that spawns when the 'Cargo Ships' option is enabled in the world options. It is loaded with a variety of raw ores and sundry repair parts. Many components are incomplete, including those listed below, in addition to some of the light armor and catwalks.

Use

Not much is known about the hauler.

• This ship appears to be a long-range freighter, carrying cargo from remote mining operations.
• Judging by the refineries onboard, it was likely meant to process ores en route.

Note

• The Mining Hauler has something of a hidden cockpit. It can be found by ascending the shaft on the right side of the catwalk in the forward hold.
• The rear cargo bay could be modified by players to use Rotors. This would allow the sides to swing open and close for ore delivery ships to dock and unload.

Traps

Thruster bomb	A thruster bomb trap is located directly beneath the Large Reactor. There are two methods for disabling it: Grind through the incomplete Small Cargo Container and the Interior Wall behind it. This will give you direct access to both the Warhead and the Small Thruster set to detonate it. Alternatively, since the trap's Small Thruster is the only Small Thruster on the ship, it can be simply disabled from any Terminal.
